Birthday in July!

So I know I'm a bit behind the blogging world, but I'll try to catch up! :] Someone in our family turned 17 this month!!! She is happy about it, but also kinda sad, 17 is really old ya know ;]

anddd.. her car!!! :] We've had it a little over a month, so far she really enjoys it!

and now since I have such a nice car, I better get off here and go cook something for dad! ;]

special company!

We were delighted to have these two last Sunday, we had a very good time with them!
While we're on the subject of special company and good times, we have news of even more special company!!

The other night dad and I were sitting in the kitchen talking ( a favorite past time of mine) anyways Lil one left suddenly and then came back in a little bit with this blanket over her head and said "I'm a dost!! Woooooooo!" (in a ghost voice) Quite cute if you ask me! ;]

*a blog from the editor* little things I've appreciated today..

* My mom's unselfishness.
* Cellphones- being able to talk to my dad while he's away.
* My brother.
* Being outside and hearing Lil one sing to the kittens.
* Good close friends and family.
* The sound of doves cooing.
* The fact that I'm glad its my left knee that hurts and not my right b/c then I couldn't drive or anything!! haha
* and just life in general :]

4th of July!

We went to a 4th of July potluck at some of our friends house and they rented this bouncer. The kids loved it!

Joy loved sparklers and all the fireworks and wasn't scared one bit! After the sparkler would burn down and It would be close to her hand, she'd just blow it out! haha :]
